Mitsukai sat on a stool while her mother was going through different types of ribbons that looked cute in Mitsukai's hair.

Varen walked down the busy streets, sticking to the walls. She carried her 'doll' in her arms protectively, and shuffled along. She would flinch whenever someone one would accidentally bump into her, and clutch the rabbit tighter. Varen was trying to find a shop in particular, but has so far yielded no results.

Mitsukai peered out the shop, "I'll be right beck Oka-san!" She rushed out and rather purposefully collided with Varen, "Hiya Var-chan!"

(I think nicknames is gonna be Mitsukai's thing ^^")

Varen gasped in surprise and nodded a hello at Mitsukai. "H-Hello Mitsukai...." She greeted quietly. She continued walking, but not so fast, and looked around at the nearby shops halfheartedly.

Mitsukai frowned and stepped in front of her again, "Where you going Var-chan?"

Varen stopped so that she wouldn't run into Mitsukai. "Uhm...just a little shop.... Mr.Usagi needs a little work done on him...." Mr.Usagi was Varen's fighting doll. When she was training with him the other day, she had tried something new that required a few extra parts as well as some new joints. She had accidentally broken him. Again.

"Can I come?" She chirped. Mitsukai was always nosy like this, and she definitely wanted an excuse to get away from girl shopping with her mother.

Varen nodded quickly and grabbed gently onto Mitsukai's sleeve. She didn't lead her friend along, more like walked with her until they reached a run down looking booth. It contained an array of strange looking parts, more than half looking very sharp and pointy. Varen picked up a shoulder, elbow, and wrist joint. She continued surveying the parts, looking for nothing in particular.

Mitsukai cocked her head, watching curiously, "What's that?"

Varen pointed to the various parts and named them respectively. "Shoulder...elbow...and wrist joints. And these..." She said, picking up various pieces of metal, most of them the same size and shape, a few differing. "These are going to be something interesting." She paid the old man operating the stand with the last of her allowance and turned to Mitsukai, cocking her head curiously. Where to next?

Mitsukai sweatdropped 'Weird...' She instantly perked up though, "Well, Oka-san's still waiting back at the other store! She's probably got a pile of clothes for me to try on." She frowned somewhat, "You know what, lets not go there!" She giggled.

Varen brought her head back to where it was supposed to be. "Where sh-should we go then?" She asked. Didn't normal girls like trying on clothes and things? That field was a totally foreign thing to Varen. Surely Mitsukai wouldn't like to watch her work on Mr. Usagi. He and Doru, her small doll that she carried around with her, were one of the things that classified Varen as....weird.

"I dunno! If we could go find Nii-san and the others we could probably find something to do but..." She pouted, "Nii-san stole my riceball today, so I'm too mad to talk to him." She crossed her arms stubbornly.

Varen looked down at the ground. She didn't do well with conflicts. "Did he....uh....apologize?" With her free hand, Varen scratched her head. "I would.... have gotten you a rice ball....but I just spent the rest of my money..."

Mitsukai giggled, "Why are you always so serious Var-chan?"

Varen thought briefly of those tea parties she has with Doru and Mr. Usagi when no one was around. Those weren't serious....were they? But no one had to know about that. Instead, she replied, "I-I don't know...."

(rofl xD)

"Well anyways, we could go get some candy if you want! I got my own allowance, lucky you!" She grinned.

Varen thought about it for a second, and then nodded. "That would be...nice. Thank you..." She took Doru and propped him on her shoulder. She carried all of her supplies in her right arm, and hesitantly grabbed onto her friends sleeve again.

((I might have to go soon, High School hunting >.< I'll be back on later if that is the case though.))

Mitsukai was used to the way Varen grabbed onto people's sleeve when she wanted to follow, so she just started walking, "Does Doru-san like sweets too?" Mitsukai was rather happy about leading, where as usually her brother is the one bossing everyone around.

Varen's smile gained the tiniest smirk you could imagine. "Yes...Yes he does. He likes German raspberries..." Varen could be childish at times, but that was because she didn't socialize well. She followed obediently.
